Leading California General Contractor seeks to hire a full-time Assistant Construction Site Superintendent to assist in managing current multi-family development projects in San Jose, California. Our Client is a multi-family, general contractor specializing in building class A apartment communities and creating incredible living experiences for residents for one of the strong developers in the country.
Key job functions include, but are not limited to:
Assists in managing the day to day construction activities of residential apartment buildings at assigned development projects accordance to approved plans, budgets and schedules.
Coordinates daily activities with subcontractors, government officials, inspectors and consultants to ensure that all construction is in compliance with current municipal standards and guidelines and company quality standards
Assists with finishes and quality assurance final punch out lists
Assists in managing subcontractor relationships.
A High School Diploma is required, a college degree is preferred. One (1) to three (3) years multi family construction or commercial development experience is desired. Work requires knowledge of safe construction practices and OSHA regulations. Work requires ability to effectively communicate with participants at all levels of a development project. Strong organizational skills, sense of urgency the and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment is necessary. Previous experience with a construction project management software is preferred.
Base salary = 90K (+/-) based on experience, performance bonuses and benefits
