INTERIOR DESIGNER - LUXURY HOTELS and HOSPITALITY
RECRUITER NOTES: You must be a team player and have a great eye for detail, colors and materials. The right candidate must know how to create amazing interiors and environments to make client's properties highly desirable and memorable. Background coming out of high-end hotel and 5 star resorts are desired. Desired candidate must be able to manage people and consultants with no drama.

Job Responsibilities

The resort interior designer develops a design that meets the vision of the Owner. Following a series of Owner consultation, discussing the desires, goals and requirement of the project, the designer (either independently or as part of a team) develops an initial concept, highlighting the technical requirements and associated costs. The designer ensures concepts remain compliant utilizing a strong knowledge of commercial/hospitality building codes, including room occupancy limits, bathroom and emergency exit requirements, food storage and cooking ventilation requirements. These initial drafts may be presented to the client in a variety of forms, including drawing, three dimensional models, computer imaging or any combination thereof. Once approval has been acquired, the designer works with interior and 3rd party design teams to create blueprints and ensure the integrity of the design through the building process.
Training and Education

BS/BA in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent experience.

Interior Design License desired
- Minimum 10 years experience
