Responsibilities
1. Cash Management
- Preparation of Weekly Cash Report
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all entities
- Petty cash reconciliation and replenishment
2. Corporate Reporting
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly corporate reports
- Maintenance and monthly close of corporation general ledgers
- Book all development fees
- Adjusting entries
- Review and approve invoices
- Review and approve intercompany billings
- Intercompany loan reconciliation
- Supervise annual 1099 information
3. Development Entity Reporting
- Analysis and understanding of all development ledgers
- Maintenance and monthly close of development entities general ledgers
- Maintenance of development entities cost reports
- Prepare monthly reporting package to outside partner
4. Accounts Payable
- Supervise A/P clerk
- Supervise monthly reconciliation of A/P between cost report and G/L
- Responsible for developer invoice issues - Soft Cost Vendors
5. Monthly Loan Draws
- Monthly preparation of Loan Draws
- Reconciliation of Loan Draw to Lender schedule
- Interaction with Bank and Bank's Construction Inspectors
6. Payroll
- Review of bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Reconciliation of Payroll accounts and review of quarterly filings.
Requirements:
- Four year degree
- 3+ years of real estate development/construction accounting experience
Salary: $65K-$75K + bonus potential (based on experience)
