Although home sales have slowed of late, there seems to be no stopping Build-to-Rent (BTR) projects in Texas. And RangeWater wants to get in on some of the action. The company kicked off construction on its first San Antonio BTR project, a 154-unit townhome project called Caliza at the Loop, a Storia neighborhood on 16 acres on San Antonio’s outer loop.

Caliza’s 154 townhomes will average 1,600 square feet with three-bedroom, 2.5 bath floorplans. RangeWater anticipates first move-ins scheduled for May 2023.

RangeWater’s Steven Shores says the region shows no sign of slowing, “RangeWater is strategically growing across the Sunbelt to meet the high demand for housing. San Antonio is one of Texas’ fastest growing cities due to its attractive job market.” The company acquires, develops, manages and invest in properties across the Sunbelt.
