ICON National, a general contractor specializing in renovation of affordable multifamily and senior housing communities, has completed 450 units of affordable living in California in light of the state’s Homekey initiative. The statewide effort aims to expand housing for persons experiencing homelessness, or at risk of housing insecurity, by creating permanent or interim housing options by developing or renovating hotels, motels, vacant apartment buildings and other properties.

With more than one-third of the units in Orange County, the projects, their respective locations and units include:

  • Casa Aliento, Oxnard – 70 units
  • Aviation (LAX Suites), Inglewood – 48 units
  • Motel 6 Phase I, Costa Mesa – 44 units
  • Tahiti Inn Phase II, Stanton – 77 units
  • Stanton Motel Phase II, Stanton – 77 units
  • Hillview Court Phase II, Milpitas – 134 units
